We have an opportunity to join our supply chain team as an Assistant Merchandising Manager reporting to the Merchandising Manager.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Identify fulfilment, allocation and stock opportunities to improve availability and inventory productivity
- Developing a stock and open to buy plan
- Work with merchandising team to better manage availability, inventory health, open to buy, item level forecasting
- Support the development of KPIs to monitor success and progress, collect and apply learning within follow up process
- Work on cross functional projects as needed to support company objectives
- Liaising with the Commercial Department, the Logistics Team, the Space Planning team, Stores and Distribution Centre
- Work with Merchandising Manager to develop long term strategy with focus on forward planning
- Support development of the merchandising team
- Assume full management responsibility of the Merchandising function in the absence of the Merchandising Manager
Key Skills
- Strong experience in commercial & merchandising
- Team management experience
- Ability to drive continuous development and improvement
- Project management
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
