We have an opportunity for an effective and dynamic Category Executive to join our category team.

 

 Key responsibilities include: 

  • Managing the supplier price file and ensuring that any price queries that do arise are dealt with.
  • Listing new product lines, processing purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries for promotional and seasonal lines.
  • Ensuring that all Repak packaging and space planning information is updated onto the system.
  • Updating the promotional folder with all the relevant information that our Marketing colleagues require.
  • Requesting promotional offers and discounts from suppliers.
  • Ensuring that all trading agreements are up to date and on file.
  • Dealing with Far East suppliers regarding purchase orders, packaging style, shipping marks and setting up Letters of Credit
  • Tracking containers and chasing suppliers to ensure that our stock is shipped when we want it to be.
  • Checking container arrivals and ensuring that the correct duty rates have been paid. Booking on containers and allocating stock as required.
  • Dealing with Accounts and Store colleagues regarding issues that may arise on a day to day basis.
