We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic & driven Financial Accountant to join our expanding Support Office Finance team in Dublin 24.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of monthly management information to include nominal ledger cost analysis.

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts

  • Margin reporting and analysis.

  • Preparation of both company and group reporting information packs.

  • Assist with annual budget preparation & quarterly forecasts.

  • Assist with year-end process and preparation of statutory financial statements & tax packs.

  • Assist with Internal Audit & External Audit.

  • Presentation of financial results to leadership team

  • Analyze and interpret data and identify fluctuations and trends

  • Business partner with all departments to support financial data driven decision making

  • Monthly cash forecasting

  • Continuously improve finance systems and processes

  • Support Finance Manager and provide cover for the other members of the Finance Team as required

  • Assist with Projects as and when required

  • Any other ad hoc finance duties as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA)

  • Enthusiastic, sociable self-starter with a positive attitude who is willing to challenge and be challenged

  • Creates effective plans, prioritises work, anticipates obstacles and monitors performance against the plan

  • Commercially astute and looking to progress their career to a senior level within industry

  • Approach challenges with a ‘can do’ attitude displaying resilience and enthusiasm in your role

  • Play an active role and contribute to the general strategic direction of the business

  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with strong people skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a wider support team

  • Works well with others, engages with colleagues and the wider team to and forms strong working relationships.

  • Confident presenting summary data of key findings to senior management.

  • Capable of working on own initiative and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent Excel skills essential.
